wednesday post

ok, step count for today, 660.
so, got up this morning nice and late. i think mum and i had the same breakfast, eitherwise known as the most boring breakfast in the world, but i had a cup of milo with mine. coz today was wednesday, aunty yvonne came over and we did some physio. aunty carmen also came over, along with some yummy congee that she made. when she left, aunty yvonne continued to walk with me, before making her special 'little eggies', that common hk snack. but good on her! she put in enough sugar this time, so it tasted just delicious. we all also had a yummy bowl of congee. thanks aunty carmen! when aunty yvonne left, mum and i got ready to go out. destination? dr's place to sit on the noisy chair. good news, both my bumcheeks got a massage this time; last time, it was only the left.
oh! almost forgot - before the chair appointment, mum took me next door to get my blood taken. i HATE blood ladies. but this one was nice, her name was trisha. i told her my attempts at wheeling away with onearm story and she laughed.i also warned her about me having stupid veins, but still, we had 2 first unsuccessful jabs. ouch. :(
she came up with a good solution in the end though - finger pricking! like i said, after that, she got 'copious' amounts of blood. :P
so we went back home, had a croissant each then i hit the bed for an arvo snooze. when i got up it was shower time turns out that the guys from ABIA (acquired brain injury assosciation) were late, so we had dinner first. grant came first - he's got 2 young sons that keep getting STUCK into things! oh dear >< for instance, one young son got stuck in a ROCKING HORSE, of all things. oh dear. dad offered him a cup of tea - he takes it like i do - white and 2. even scarier, he told me he knows a guy that takes it white and FOUR. i mean, is that guy eating sugar or drinking tea? lol. cole came later - he says we've met before - not that i remember, sorry. we talked a lot about things, like coping mechanisms, etc. cole left a report on me that i'll read toms if i get the chance. house is on right now - some repeat. funnily enough? i thought the season was already over. oh well. funnily enough, dad thought the patient's daughter was JENNIFER ANISTON. teeheehee.
ok, off to bed now. outpatient therapies toms - must remember to ask bob for a buck to buy the paper. ok, goodnite!
cheers,
em. ^^
