queen's bday public holiday post

well, hello queen, hello and a very happy birthday! i've heard your real one was actually in april or sth, but i hope you enjoyed it. i wonder how old you are?
ok, first things firse: number of steps i walked today? 209 plus the 114 i did the night before? 313.
well, i was very happy to be able to go to hungry jack's for breakkie this morning! (and mum is humming josh groban's 'you raise me up'. aww, how cute. i had a bacon, egg and sausage wrap, mum had a steak and egg wrap. we both tried each others, and decided our own's was better. hehe. dad went for a classic bacon and egg muffin (hehe i almost typed MCmuffin, hehe), which i stole a bite of. mum took a bite out of my hash brown, fair enough considering dad stole ALL of mum's hash brown, hehe. hungry jack's has better breakkie if only if they serve it till 11:30; maccas only does till 10:30. anyways, off we went to ikea after that. we bought a few things, most notably a pillow for me and a little pink stool for mum. i wanted a blue one, but sadly there were none left, so dad will get one for me when it comes into stock, mum's promised. :)
so we came home, and i was too sleepy to have lunch, so i instead hit the bed for a long nap. when i got up, the whole cheung family popped over, and while mel read a book and sam played his DS, i did some PT with uncle colbert and OT with aunty winnie. so a walk, so raising left arm, some peg gripping and figurine holding. sam came to tell of a funny story of how he flushed (oh sorry, it was actually aunty winnie who told us the tale)of how uncle colbert flushed him down the loo! oh dear ... and it was actually a poem!
they stayed for arvo tea, mum and i had 3 sticks of yummy chocolate pocky, uncle colbert had 2, and aunty winnie, coz neither she nor aunty anne like chocolate ... i wonder if either of them were dropped on their heads as babies ... >< *wails* mum whacked me coz i said that :(" oh well, stiff upper lip.
when they left, i went for a shower, then i watched the news before having dinner.
ok, about time for me to head off into snoozeland! outpatient's toms, so wish me luck!
