yo! ok, i plodded 2550 steps today. not bad :P
anyways, woke up this morning. i know both daddy bear and i got a kiss from dear dad this morning, but he was too busy snoring, so i let him be. :P so mum got me kitted up in socks, old splint and shoes. ding dong! aunty joanne arrived, so she just watched as mum FORCED :( me to the gobbling table :P where i asked for a bowl of just wrong for breakfast. :P a slight grumble though - why so few sultanas? oh well ... >< actually, me hungry now, though. guess i'll have to wait until mum comes down for her to feed me some arvo tea. actually, my fingers are crossed for a toasted chicken, cheese and mayo sandwhich, but knowing mum, she'll prolly deny me cheese and only gimme a drop of mayo. oh well, but still worth a try! so, me going now, and time is now ... 3:29pm.
hello again! well, 'tis 3:52pm now, and i've gobbled arvo tea. yup, a chicken and mayo sandwhich, no cheese and only a drop of mayo. i mean, i could've done ith 3 or 4 more times that, but oh well. be thankful for small blessings, i better say. and if that wasn't enough, mum for some reason only limited me to H2O for drinks. at best, i would've loved a cup of chocolate nesquik, hot or cold, the 2nd option would be just a glass of plain milk. but mum's decision? "NO MILK." says she, "or else, NO PEAR JUICE tonight." well, i can't really say anything for that. like i've said already, you WIN. EVERYTHING. i LOSE. satisfied? argh, and someone please save me! pig mum's singing that DREADFUL song again>< what is it called again? oh, the british national anthem, or sth.
anyways, after i finished gobbling breakkie, mum FORCED :( me to walk to the car, where off to the PA we tootled, listening to westlife. once at the PA, mum parked far away then enjoyed herself FORCING :( me to walk into the day hospital. turns out my physio's name is spelt 'tricia', short for 'patricia'. oh! mum and i were also very pleased to see suzanne, who was here for her very last speech session. but she talks on fine, really. i just haveta remember to keep merv and her in my prayers to percy the angel, coz i think poor merv recently passed away. he had leukemia, or sth similar like that.
anyways, so mum FORCED :( me to walk all the way in to the day hospital. she and aunty joanne left, and i started meandering up and down the yellow parallel bars with tricia, forwards, backwards and sideways. actually, there was no arm bike today, but tricia did set my left hand to doing some exercises, e.g. "left hand up, push out and sideways down." or sth like that, anyway:P oh, and we had some stuff with the banbags too, e.g. the right hand passes the left hand a beanbag, the left hand places it down on the rest. anyways, at midday, she walked me out to the front door where mum and aunty joanne were waiting. aunty joanne kindly passed me a little plastic cup of water as mum had a chat with tricia. oh! bob also came along and took a seat with us for awhile. i congratulated himon miserable manly's THRASHING of mangy melbourne. we had a chat, then he took his leave as mum came back. so, mum then FORCED :( me to walk all the way back to the day hospital, where we sat down to our lunches. both mum and aunty joanne had got themselves lasagne, but i was the happiest with some BEAUTIFUL quiche lorraine. mum made herself and i a nice cup of coloured water, and even cooler - aunty joanne shouted us desert aftertward!half a blueberry muffin :) she had the other half, while pig mum pinched some for herself. twas very yummy indeed!even better, thanks to one of the 'm' ladies - was her name 'martha'? or sth like that, anyways. so, much thanks to her who gave mum, aunty joanne and I a cup of OJ! you know, those little, round, 110mL cups, if i remember correctly. so all that slurped down, then i was incredibly thankfully transferred back to a borrowed wheelchair from the day hospital - albiet one about a HUNDRED sizes too big for me! :P and off to the P&O we trundled. jane saw us, we explained to her the problem, and she took my boot away to fix as hayfever settled well and truly onto me. >< so i exploded happily while she was fixing it - well, not happily, shall we say, exploded 'repeatedly? - then when she came back out, i tried my reconfigured boot on for size. but at least it fits now, i think. mum then promptly FORCED :( on an 80+ step lap walk, then i gratefully plopped back down into sparkless and jane whipped off everything to have a look at it. "still red," she pronounces. anyways, we say our thanks and bye, and mum returns that fattie wheelchair :P to the day hospital :P then she FORCED :( me to walk out to the main entrance, where i think we saw habib! so i sat down as mum went to get the car. she came back, and FORCED :( me to walk to the car, me groaning that my poor, silly left ankle hurt. ITAI!!!!!!!!!!!!><
anyways, we drove home, me taking the chance to ring dear dad. i love him the BEST. FOREVER. :) anyways, he's at banyo and just had his lunch too. so we tootled home, still listening to good ol' westlife. we let aunty joanne out at the door, as mum wrestled with the silly garage door remote that refused to open. >< but we got in finally, and mum climbed out, returning with my old splint. so she put it on, then FORCED :( me to walk all the way back to sparky. i mean, i had hoped that she'd just place my chair t the front door, to save my poor, silly and owchie ankle. sorry, fat chance. then, as i kept plodding, i thought she might've placed my chair at the piano. huh, keep on dreaming. then i was foolish/naive to believe that maybe it'll be at the gobbling table or the fridge. WAKE UP, em. there is NO light at the end of the tunnel, ok?
anyways, i guess when i finish blogging i'll go read the news, look for more'p' words for my weekly report, and try to hack back into my MSN messenger. oh, why oh WHY did i forget my password? *smacks self* oh well... see you toms!
cheers,
em. ^^
P.S. righteo, me off to send an e-card to my beloved randma. it's her 75th bday toms! woohoo!!!
P.P.S. well, kerry's being a slack bum today, not turning up. oh well, guess i'll just be grateful that it'll be mum helping me with my shower tonight.
