friday post 2

woo hoo, i is at home again!
nothing much to report this week, although i think i have memorised the menu well and truly by now:
MONDAY - LUNCH: chicken salad, chilli con carne. DINNER: vegie bake, chicken and gravy.
TUESDAY - LUNCH sweet and sour chicken, roast pork salad. DINNER: i forgot? quiche? veal parmigiana?
WEDNESDAY - LUNCH: meat pie, hamburgers, egg and cheese salad. DINNER: pork loin?
THURSDAY: LUNCH - beef salad, lamb rogan josh DINNER: beef casserole, lasagne.
FRIDAY: LUNCH - tomato penne pasta, chicken parmigiana.
i'm home by friday dinner, and every meal there's the option of sandwhiches. so it's very repeatitive, and very boring.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: kylie, mel and dani all came to visit me this week, and they even got me a chocolate cake! complete with icing and lollies and everything, it only didn't come with lit candles coz they were afraid that we'd set the fire alarms off!mel and kylie also gave me a bday card each, and a stack of gifts. mainly? lotsa lollies, but also with a DVD each. one was narnia, which i can't wait to watch! the other, some scary MA movie i will definetly need my bear bear to protect me while i watch it. :$ turns out dani is now a vegetarian (but hey, ange hansen is a vegan!) and mel works at the PA's spinal injury unit. i was a pig and had 2 slices, mum also cut herself one and we cut a HUGE slice for dad before giving the rest to jenny and wally. congrats to him, he's outta here! they were wonderful, and also gave me a bday present, a year of daily devotions by joni eareckson tada (middle name prolly spelt incorrectly, sorry). we remembered to swap phone numbers, so hopefully we'll keep in touch.
POO OF THE WEEK:thankfully, no blood lady, so relax, but my pet peeve, icecream. i get it once a week on wednesdays, and i usually leave it for dinner, but this time? "sorry, we've run out of ice-cream." usually, that means i'll leave it to thursday, but it was too much of a hassle. i mean, i tell kitchen lady, kitchen lady informs nurse, nurse goes ask mum. if it happens again next week, i WILL press the issue, but as it's such a lil tub of icecream ... oh well.
i do admit i was bad this morning though, coz i sneaked one extra teaspoon of sugar into my cereal this morning, but i promise to try harder next week.
last thing before signing off, remember to pray for vince this week, coz the silly bugger got himself in the head, with all things, his CAR BOOT, *sweatdrop*
