weekend post (x+2x)

and another week is over and i am gladly at home for 3 blissful nights. ^^
this week ... nothing special. the guy that promised my diving boot didn't deliver, but that was to be expected. oh well, maybe next week.
best thing of the week? rebecca moved out of our room. poor girl, she had a car crash and she can walk. she's also mega-confused and keeps demanding me and the other girls in our room to "get OUT! this is MY room!" she left me terrified that she would attack and kill me. she has the advantage after all, she can walk. but the nurses reassured me that they would look after all of us, so ... ok. i admit, i was further creeped out when i came back from breakfast one morning to have one of the other girls tell me, "hey, you know that girl rebecca? she was standing in your cupboard before, BUTT-NAKED. i made sure she left all your things alone."but mum told me one last thing - the last girl in our room can walk, so if anything happens i can just scream for her. ^^
worst thing of the week? friday lunch, the kitchen staff decide to walk off the job. they're striking over carparks. i mean, usually, i wouldn't care, but what would i get for lunch? turns out there was 2 options. beef salad (from yesterday's lunch), or sandwiches. seeing as i don't like beef, but my favourite meat is chicken, i went with the sandwhiches. only thing? honestly, whoever heard of chicken sandwhiches with STRAWBERRY JAM on them? oh well, it was weird, but it DID taste ok. and even better, the tea lady made me a cuppa exactly as i prefer it - white with 2.
that's another question i have for everyone. is it normal to take your tea with two sugars? i mean, there used to be a guy (tones), who took his coffee white and THREE. now THAT'S excessive. but honestly, 2 sugars? what's wrong with that? mum seems to think there's a problem; she usually tells the tea lady/man to just give me 1/2. i mean, am i drinking tea or coloured water?
am proud to report that the blood lady left me alone this week (phew.) ^^ she got me last week, but at least i told her if she was coming for me again, she had better bring me a lolly or sth like that. hehe... ^^ surprisingly, she actually wrote my name down and promised to remember. fingers crossed!
house this week was good. the patient was some professional stuck in the south pole, so the entire thing had to be done by video link. funniest thing, house had to do an exam, so he sat down and ordered the lady to 'strip'. cool, unflappable lady's response? 'after you.' hahaha!
well, that's all from me this week. i hope you all are enjoying today, which only comes around once every four years!
