weekend post x+14

yup ... me got dug up this morning, had breakfast (toast with mum's cool orange marmalade), then off we trundled to church.today's speaker was anne wan, and what can i say? i scored. ^^ am now the proud new owner of a cool new pen. julz scored too, but mine is cooler coz it's blue. :P
after church, we resumed our trundling, this time to food court. i was so hungry i got a big kebab (usually we just get a snacxk one). dad tried a whopper stunner deal, which mum said was weirds coz the storm desert tasted like ... coconut? i dunno. for herself, mum got rice noodles with fat pork and whatever else.
back home, i bedded down for a nap, got up coz the entire cheung family popped over. poor mel had algebra homework to do, sam had some other one, but we started with OT first and did volleyball exercises, followed by cup lifting exercises, followed by figure of 8 exercises. the cool thing? i got them all to sign my cast. ^^ we did walking too, then i had to go to the loo coz i had 2 cups of milk. the first was with my arvo tea of a subperb sausage bun, the second after we munched yummy chocolates (maybe from uncle wallace? ) then we moved to PT and went walking with dad's walking freame. i did count the steps it took from the dining room to the loo, but i forgot >< i'm sorwee!
anyways, mum just popped out and reminded me that the chocolates are actually from shelley, who moved to SIU (the spinal injury unit) poor girl, she ended up in here coz she fell down the stairs, broke her back, and had so much internal bleeding they didn't dare to operate on her yet.
went to the bathroom before they left, and also informed them of my escape plan. uncle colbert was awesome and said we'd haveta go to fasta pasta to eat fettucine carbonara to celebrate my 21st birthday. i think it's a great idea!
