*yelps* that dratted post, it has gone again!>< so, here comes take 2... and i plodded 1685 steps today.
got up, mum forced me to walk out to the gobbling table :P breakfast was a piece of toast with a little marg and strawberry jam with a cup of plain milk. all devoured :P dad made me walk to the car, and off to church we tootled. mum didn't want to listen to any CD, she just wanted peace and quiet, so i sang '99 bottles of beer on the wall' in my head to entertain myself as we drove to church. upon arrival, i stopped at 77 bottles. :P parents forced me to walk in, and speaker today was shane/shaun mccarthy, and he brought his son josh along. his sermon was on names. when he finished yakking:P i needed to pee so mum made me walk in and out. then we chatted to pole and smelly for awhile, b4 mum forced me to walk back out to the car. in return for a piece of KFC chicken from aunty a next week, i agreed to accompany her, mum and dad to yum cha. remember, i HATE yum cha. >< please just give me ONE BIG meal, not a nibble here and a nibble there, etc. mum added that if i went with them, i'd be free from yumcha until jan 1st, 2009. but i might still take dad to yumcha on their anniversary (29th aug) i love him the best. ^^" anyways, at yum cha we bumped into the guy that works there - and is a workmate of uncle sam's - and thanks to him who poured me a glass of water. tea was 'bol ley', (dunno it's english name)so i ordered most of my favourites - though i admit i was a bit startled to read in the menu that there was both crocodile and kangaroo to eat! >< not for me, no thanks! anyways, i admit, after lunch i was only just 'satiated', so i hope i'd better get a big arvo tea! too bad though, i doubt mum will gimme a microwaveable meal. ah well, you all know what i say. just go get the hell used to it. :P
so, lunch over, i extended an invite to aunty a to come over for hot pot tonight; i think she accepted. parents had made me walk in and out of the restaurant, and once back home, they forced me to walk inside. i plopped of the couch to watch grant hackett tough it out in the 1500m. he was so close to winning too! i also heard, courtesy of mum, that the girls had won their 4x100 race - libby trickett, leisel jones (sorry for any spelling inaccuracies), jesicca schipper and emily seebohm. well done, girls!
anyways, dear dad's just back from the shops; i expect he'll go to baddy soon. mum's gone for a snooze and i'm waiting for kerry to get here. still an hr to go! and i'll ask for a hot ovaltine today - yesterday's was a hot milo.
well, going to watch naruto now, then the news. still no sound. oh well. cya guys toms! hope you have a lovely week!
cheers,
em. ^^
