friday post 2

yay, i is back after only 3 sleeps at the insane asylum!
highlight of the week: house, icecream and meat pies with lotsa gravy on wednesday!
byebye of the week: we bid a fond farewell to suzanne who's leaving today. she's such a lovely lady; i really wish her and her husband all the best. her hubby's name is merv, poor thing has brain cancer or sth just as nasty now, but they're managing it. we took a photo together before we left; knowing me and my clumsy habit of dropping everything i have (eg my poor bear bear, my toothbrush, toothpaste, diary, even MISS PIG), i somehow suspect that before this week is out, i will have dropped my HEAD. ><
poop of the week: crazy tea people that insist on giving white with an equal for tea. i mean, usually i can nick one for every time bar supper, but i just haven't the breath to argue.
other poop of the week: i mean, mum usually has to steal like 3/4 of my cake which is a dessert on thursday, but why couldn't i get even a LITTLE custard with whatever small portion of the cake i'm left with? :(
always poop of the week: um ... i forgot. ><
embarising thing of the week: this wmorning, shuana woke me up, tossed my pants at me, said "get them on" and walked away. i tried as hard as i could, but 5 mins later when another nurse, ruby, came to get me up, she had a good cackle. "emily, you've got your legs back to front!!^^" oopsie, but thanks to ruby who very nicely got them back on for me. ^^
scare of the week: i tried to take myself to the loo this week, only the floor was wet, and i slipped. plop! onto my bottom. i hit the buzzer for a nurse - i got both andy and orli. after making sure i wasn't hurt, strong orli went, "ok, here we go" and with one arm yanked me back up. i'm just relieved and lucky amy didn't catch me in there - else i would've never have heard the end of it! at first, they were talking about the hoist at first, before odecided 'nah, she's fine. i'll just grab her up."
anyways, i'm off to watch naruto now!
oops, almost forgot to add, i only got 3 days of physio this week! see, i didn't get back till tuesday, only to have bob tell me, "she's got an ADO." come wednesday? "she's sick."
ooh, one more thing!
today, we (we being myself, brendan and shelley) made damper in OT! i tried to make mine into a love heart, only the poor lump of dough became a 'broken heart' when miss flop split it open to see if it was cooked yet.
