yay, i is back again after only 3 nights at the stinky hospital ^^
i guess, the only thing worth mentioning this week is that my left leg got casted.cheers to bob the corn cob, who did magnificently and managed not to plaster off my poor toes. janelle just told me to keep wiggling my toes and to find her with all due haste if they turned blue, green, black or purple. (thankfully, they stayed the same colour. the trouble actually came at night (coz i have the habit of crossing my legs when i sleep)when i woke up halfway through the night and wondered, "errr ... why is my right leg so heavy? " (lightbulb) oh! my plastered left leg is squashing it!" i also had fun telling everyone that it was bob the physio assistant who BROKE my poor leg. bob thought it was funny, and joined in on telling everyone he had broken my leg, until one of the nurses came in and YELLED at him for doing such a dreadful thing. haha, poor bob the corn cob.
dad also told a smasher of a bedtime story on thursday night: he, mum, bear bear and jimmy (the big stuffed toy doggy jim gave me) had a swimming race. oh dear, but dad was the only one who played fair: jimmy stuck motors in his ears to propel him along, mum just clung on to dad and let herself get pulled along(or was it that she added flippers? lol, it was prolly both), and bear bear ... i forgot, but it was sth illegal too. oh, cheers to dad who popped briefly back in to tell me he had stuck an inflatable swim ring around himself. they all touched the finish line together, but the judge ruled they had all cheated and thus gave the first prize to dad. lol, but dad's tell the best bedtime stories, don't they?
anyways, i'll see most of you guys on sunday, yeah? you all gotta sign my cast!^^

australia day holiday post
hello, heylo, howdy, hi. :P
guess what? today is my DAD'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! happy bday, daddy, i love you the best in the whole wide universe!!
well, for a change today, we decided to go to broadbeach and see the pelicans! there were lotsa canoes, speedboats, and other parapernalia (sorry, my spelling standards are truly abysmal! ><")
mum went to buy us fish and chips, which were wonderful but sadly devoid of any chicken salt or even salt. :( poor me though, was even more depressed upon my discovery that mum had forgotten to buy scallops! :( but mum was cool and raced back to buy me some ... i think it was 6 for 10bucks? well, roughly that, anyway.
we went home (me lamenting that we didn't pass a single icecream shop on the way :() and i bedded down for a nap. woke up hours later, and had a shower, then plopped on the computer until the guests started arriving (uncle stephen and anna first - but who knows who else is coming? )
well it's almost 6 and my tumtum is already yelling for dinner.
have a great week guys, and seeing as most of you are back from BLT, come visit me!!!!!!!!!!!! ... *wibbles* please?

anyways, after having a nap almighty and arvo tea, the whole cheung family came over.
sam and mel started whacking it out on the wii, and we started with PT first.
after standing, walking and the whole shebang, we moved to do OT with aunty winnie., who told me the secret to making dumplings is to add egg and tofu. i've never tried that before, but hey, it sounds good!

sunday post2
*dorky wafflebutt awakes from nap and bids a sleepy greeting to you, the reader* :)
firstly, a huge apologies to my poor old mum, who is having a grand sulk coz i won't let her put any andy hui on my ipoddy. for those of you who are fortunate enough to have never heard him before, bethankful, because he is a DREADFUL, NASAL, singer.
as for me, i'm listening to anthony callea right now ... now HE is a good singer. his 2nd CD, mum says i have too.. but that i prefer the 1st one coz the 2nd is a tad too poppy for my tastes.
anyways, got up this morning and went to church. i didn't know the speaker, nor do i remember his sermon, but i'm sure it was a good one. when that was over, i gave pole's bday present to her ... i hope she likes!^^ she turns 21 on the 30th; my dear daddy's bday is on the 28th.
we went to foodcourt and i got to tuck in on some kfc, there are also those 80c custard things - oh, actually, i've already had mine and turns out tey're 90c now. mum got a disgusting sesame one, while dad stuck on the safe side and had his tried and trusted red bean.
anyways, got home and bedded down for a nap (a loooooooong one - 3 hrs!) got up, and had the arvo tea of a cup of milo and my beloved sausage bun. mum had her polo bun.
anyways, looks like the physio's here, so i'll love you and leave you. remember to come visit me!!!!

saturday post 2
HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY, peoples!!!!!!!!!!!!
well let's see ... i slept this morning, slept some more, and sl-got rudely dug up by dad coz uncle wallace the OT had arrived. we did a session, which was sadly devoid of all the very nice shoulder chops that he's so good at, !^^
after he left, who should pop along but vincent the physio and his wife, kat! when they came, i was watching the tennis, the aussie open women's finals - shriekapova vs, ivanovic. sdadly, shriekapova prevailed, but not before i counted she shrieked 54 times starting from the 1st set when she was leading 4-2.
well breakfast was the to-be-expected cheese and tomato sauce on toast. a call for some cereal is going out, peoples!
anyways, when mum got back from work (the doctor today was dr. wall) we all had noodles for lunch.
later, when they started contesting the men's doubles, uncle tony came over. so we did a session, and this time we listened to tchaikowsky's (how on earth do you spell that name? ) symphonies of some sort. when he left i got the afternoon tea of the same thing i had for breakfast. almost forgot to add, plus two of mr. jenning's dwindling pocky; i asked mum where her peanut ones went (remember, mr. jennings bought us 2 packs - one chocolate and one peanut), mum answered they'd already gobbled them all up!
mum's just going to wrap dad's b'day pressie - a photo frame with a photo in it of dad holding up the water bottle (i think it was at rainbow beach) and grinning while i'm desperately trying to reach for it) ok, so fair enough, i've got a huge grin on my face too.
ok, we've hidden dad's present in a drawer mum assures me dad never opens, and mum's gone to soak her fingers (she got an infected ingrown fingernail or sth like that. ouchie.><
anyways, hope all of you guys are having a lovely patriotic australia day. see most of you at church toms! bye!

weekend post x+7
yoo!!! it'sa me, dorky wafflebutt again, back for the australia day weekend *grins*
well seriously nothing of noteworthy mention this week ... still no house :( but i wanted to watch some new show that's apparently half james bond and half jason bourne, but i must've got the times wrong coz i only got NCIS when i flicked the RV on. what does ncis stand for anyway ? so this week was the same as all others - a mass of therapies split apart by meals in between with up to 6 cups of tea a day (more if you go make your own, but who's that desperate? :P)
anyways, i hope all you guys had a great time at BLT this week, and are all feeling spiritually refreshed :) if so .......... duh:P come and VISIT me! *wibbles*
lol, just as i said that, janice msn'd me and said her and her aunty are popping over in 20 mins. it does work! ha!
well i'm having a great time listening to the awesome westlife on ipoddy :) have i said yet, my favourite song from their new album is their second one, 'us against the world'? nice lyrics:

oh, i haven't said it yet, a nurse was painting a patient's fingernails, and silly me had to say, "i've never painted mine before." the nurse then offered to paint my hand for me, but i settled for just one finger. so now, my right hand pointer finger is what mum and i term a disgusting black. but poor dad almost went into cardiac arrest when he came in and thought i slammed it into a door or sth .. aww ...
anyways, it's my most beloved daddy's birthday on the 28th, so please remember to say a big happy birthday to him if you get the chance!!
oh yeah, janice's aunty is called katherine. she says when she came 5 years ago, we had a bbq at our house for them. honestly, not that i remember it, but oh well. ^^
last little bit of silly info: vince lent us ice age 2, and we watched it on the weekend and we loved it. ^^ i loved the little squirrel thing and as a result, decided to call my dad "acorn daddy" after the thing the poor squirrel chases most diligently. dad has just as much fun, calling me his "squirrel kid". poor mum, of course is just stuck with "pig mum." *angelic grin*

it's just me, dorky wafflebutt. i've never posted on a wednesday before (because i'm at hospital, duh), but i'm in speech right now so i've plopped myself on the net.
quite a boring week so far, just therapies, therapies, and ... oh you got it : more therapies. oh, i did get a haircut yesterday, thoughj. sabina's really nice - although she did threaten to chop off my ears. *wails*

sunday post
why ... heeeeeeelo one and all!^^
well, this morning poor mum felt a bit too crook to go to church, so it was just me and dad to trundle along to church today, the speaker was uncle phillip, who apologised coz it was meant to be terry wan today, but poor terry rang poor uncle phillip at 4(yes, four!) in the morning to say he was sick, and sorry, but couldn't possibly make it - which left poor uncle phillip frantically scurrying for a sermon, which he delivered quite ably, i must add.
after church, me and dad headed off to sunnybank plaza for some grocery shopping, and also to pick up our lunch, a kebab for both me and mum.
after lunch was happily munched, i got my custard cake thing (those 80c things) and bedded down for a nap.
3+ hours later, i finally got up ... thenpole came visiting! gotta remember to pray for all of them coz they're all heading for BLT this week.
i was showed as a walking talking gunea pig to pole on my cool walking frame, then even cooler - i got souvenirs from pole! postcards from her and fi from every place they visited, anf fi wrote on two of them. funniest thing - poor pole got hit in the head BY A snowball!!!!!!! haha ... trust fi to burst out laughing. i also got a box of the 5 official mascots for the 2008 olympics for this year! they're cute little things - the blue one is called em, the green one mum, the black one dad (mum reckons he looks like a panda! aww, poor dad), the orange one is called pole, and the last one, the red ne, is called aunty ada! *grin* (but don't tell her, coz i don't think she'll appreciate it)
well dad's finished his shower, so mum's turn now. well i'm all nicely smelling, so i'll love you and leave you guys

oh dear, take 2 again. why, oh why, must the internet freeze just as you click "publish post"?
anyways, this morning the two OT's, uncle wallace and uncle tony popped over, so we did a session. uncle wallace even got me a block of cadbury milk chocolate! yuum :)
after they left, i had my breakfast of the ever-present bread, cheese and tomato sauce. and when mum got home, lunch became chicken and corn maggi noodles. dad had noodles too, but they were some thicker type.
vincent the physio came soon after, and we had another session. funny thing though, i have a tendency to mutter under my breath as i do physio, which prompted vincent to ask, "are you cursing me?" i laughed and told him, no, i wasn't, but if i did curse him i'd wish for his hair to turn blue! he said his counter curse would be to pray that i'd walk again. aww, very nice of him!and when he left, he said i wasn't allowed to ring his wife and give her any ideas! *teeheehee*so now i'm plopped on the net blogging, dad has gone to practise hix fish qualities at the swimming pool, and mum is having a sneak preview over my shoulder.

dorky wafflebutt here to pester everyone again ... yo!^^
seriously big sulk: no-one has given me a single comment since last year!*wails* what, am i just not loved or sth?
haven't done much this week at all! i guess the biggest thing happened today, the friday morning. i went for an MRI, and i sulked enough at the lady injecting dye to turn my brain blue (ok, i admit, it's a clear dye, ok? don't fret). anyways, i sulked enough about how much it hurt that she gave me a chupa-chup! ok, fair enough, it tasted weird and all, being like pineapple or banana flavoured, but hey, sugar is sugar, i'm just happily sucking on it now as i type this entry.
thursdays at this hospital are never good at this hospital, the choice is beef salad (pretty yuck), lamb (totally yuck) and curry egg sandwhiches (keep away from me!) but mum was a champion and bought the healthy microwaveable lunches. yummy chicken for me, fishy salmon for her.
and before i forget, many thanks to aunty emily and aunty susan for accompanying us home! much appreciated, ladies :)
anyways, mum's napping away, and i'm chatting to fisobao (gosh, it's like 4:30 in the morning over in the UK) and blossom (who's hellbent on world domination :s)

correction
sorry, well not really a correction, just an addition of sorts. ^^ i forgot to add, while aunty catherine and uncle calvin were here, i watched the newest episode of naruto - orochimaru vs. jinchuuriki (however that's spelt. mum's getting her tongue in a knot just trying to pronounce it!)
well, it was a particularly yucky episode, what with orochimaru spagging up replicas of himself and a whole horde of snakes to get the equally evil nine-tailed demon fox.

well, suddenly i'm back on coz i've got 2 visitors! uncle calvin and aunty catherine ^^ uncle calvin has this most awesome t-shirt of two mini ducks; i think they look a lot like baby donald! he said he got it at the airport. it's really really cute, i think aunty catherine got one too! well, they've just gone (well, they're heading outta the door right now), and i'm the proud new owner of a really nice dgital alarm clock they got me! the best thing about it, is that it even tells the temperature! lol, i was the one who wanted to put it in the freezer! hehe, perhaps we should just start off with the fridge first, yeah? ^^
anyways, it's back to the hospital for me toms, boo hoo. why can't it just be caught out in a flood or sth? now, THAT would be cool. ^^

weekend post x+4
the weekend goes by so quickly ... suddenly it's time to go back to the hospital already ... :'(
well, this morning we took ourselves back to church. anne was the speaker today. i really do fail coz i can never remember what the sermons are about, but i admit i love her being here coz she gives out lollies for memorising memory verses. i scored again today. ^^ yuuuuuuuumy!
managed to coerce dad to get me some much craved for kfc for lunch, but of course he took most of it. *sigh*?, but that's life ...
anyways, a short nap later, who but aunty winnie, uncle colbert, mel and sam should turn up on our doorstep! so we did 2 sessions - first an OT, then a PT, while mel and sam had great fun toughing it out on the wii - they're prolly better drivers than i am! ^^
dad gave mel a boxz of lychees as they left (after all, he had bought a whole BOX). i nabbed 4 to eat, but i would have stopped at 5 anyway, coz more than 5 sets off a gushing blood nose >, just like ginseng and propolis do. poor em. ><
well, mum's having a yak on the phone, dad's gone to play baddy, and here i am, plopped on the net, making a nuisance of myself.

well after vincent the physio left, i had lunch of the bread, cheese and tomato sauce again, before going on the net to post the previous entry. then, uncle tony (he's on OT too) came, and said i could call him t-man (after the movie x-men. we did a session, and listened to some music, one of beethoven's symphonies or sth ... but the poor violin soloist, he sweated as he played! a lot of concentrating, i guess.

weekend post (x+3)
well... dorky wafflebutt firstly is having a big sulk coz no-one has commented since last year! *wibbles*
well ... this morning was full of more sulkings, coz vincent the physio rang and said he was coming early and would be here in 5 mins, even though my parents had promised me 10 more mins of blissful snooze time!><
anyways, he came and we did a session, before i finally was allowed breakfast!the very boring and very repetitive toast with cheese and tomato sauce, plus a cup of milo. enter the third sulkings for the day - the tin instructs that 2 spoonfuls of milo go into your milk, trust mum to only gimme 1/2 a spoonful *sigh* ah well, that's life, get used to it.
anyways, i'm obviously popped on the computer, waiting for uncle paul the OT to come and do a session, dad is on the wii, flogging it at car racing, and no surprise here - mum's gone for some more shuteye.
ok peoples... here's the deal:
1. have a good weekend and see most of you at church toms!
2. read and comment, please!
3. come visit me?
4. ring me cereal - there's that fun pack with lotsa little boxes with diferent variety,but if that's too hard, even a simple box of frosties or cornflakes will do!

i admit, i honestly thought it was thursday today, i had to ask 2 nurses to be sure!
it was an interesting week - i got a new ot, her name is lauren, but i thought her name was lorraine coz i had quiche lorraine at mealtime!
my speechie is also being rotated out this week, so i'll get another new therapist. hope she's nice!
well, absolutely nothing new to report for this week, but i'll finish this post tonight coz it's time to go to physio!
well heylo again, it's now 7:08, sorry, 0:9 and i've just come back from physio. my body is still quivering happily and my right arm feels the most pampered. well, i expect dinner then i'll pop to bed coz i'm quite tired. but i forgot, also haveta bid a fond farewell to dr. gillard (ok, so her real last name is mcleod) and dr. hewitt (not his real name, but his first name's lleyton, however that's spelt) because they're also being rotated! oh dear ... everyone is leaving *wibbles* but at least my physios have assured me they're staying right where they are.

holiday post coda
blearg. posting attempt, take 2.
what i didn't add was that in the arvo, before uncle stephen the ot came, there was a hailstorm at our place. only me the fun-loving idiot, of course, had to ask dad to please get some ice for me! and what's even better, he did! kitted out with a raincoat and a protective helmet first. i admit, i was pretty scared he'd get fried by lightning, but he was ok, and even returned with a whole container of ice chips!^^
anyways, before dinner, we toughed it out on the wii. i got mum real good in the tennis, sweeping her in straight sets, but what was even cooler was that i got dad in the tennis too! of course, it turned out to be a tough 5 sets, and i think i only won in the end because of my newfound ability to do aces!^^
anyways, that's all from me so i'll sign off for now. i am mega jealous that you get so much hols, but oh well, that's life.

holiday post finale
how do you like lucia grande as a font? i admit, i can't tell the difference at all! (unless, if you put wingdings on, of course. that's just weird pictures!)
anyways, woke up this morning too late for church (AGAIN) - i'm so sorry! ><" anyways, breakfast was the last of aunty rose's sausage buns - both me and mum had 2, so dad must've had like 9 or sth ... i dunno?
then i had a shower, which was followed by me plunking on the piano, proving that iknow ALL of my scales still, phew. to be honest i can't quite remember lunch, though i think it was leftover rice from last night. then still more exercises - argh, my entire LIFE is exercises, and uncle stephen the pt popped over. but please pray for aunty yvonne, coz she hurt her eye in a volleyball accident, and for ross too, coz i think he got an OP4 like julz and wants to do psychology! anyway, just plopped on net now, having a few chats (although only letty is replying me. grrr to all you others!). mum, dad and uncle stephen are having a yak, and i guess i will end off now. remember to comment guys, or better yet, visit me and bring food! oops, and one last edit, uncle stephen has gone, and so has dad to go play badminton, but mum is still as yet undecided. my bet's on sleeping, though! cheers,

holiday post x
if only i could get one of those algrbra x's on ... oh well. anyways, got up this morning, had breakfast - one piece of toast with margarine. only dad insisted i do everything using my left hand, so i did. but then i just drank my milk using my right. tasks are supposed to be shared, after all. and ugh, i don't think i've brushed my teeth yet! how unhygenic :( oh well.
uncle wallace the ot came soon after, and we did a session. he also had a cup of stinky coffee ... ew.
aunty rose and uncle ricky also popped over, and aunty rose brought me a whole plate of my most beloved sausage buns1 thanks aunty rose! and i only just learnt that sheung-yi has both a brother and a sister! whoops, i didn't know that ... ^^"
so my lunch was a delicious sausage bun and a cup of milk.am now plopped in front of the computer, talking to jim and murray - who says he'll bring me a pet elephant! i'm so excited!

holiday post no. (dulp, i've really lost count)
yeah, dorky wafflebutt is plopped back on the net after shower and dnner. am mournfully wailing the fact that my holidays are as good as done, just a puny two weeks. *sigh* oh well.
well, this morning, woke up and had the surprisingly refreshing breakfast of a yummy, but fattening, croissant with mum. that was followed by a physio session, and lucky we remembered our umbrella this time!
after physio, we bough delicious lunch - a kebab for me and just the fish part of fish and chips for mum. well, she had chips too, but they werre pretty dreadful!
my lunch eating was in itself a failure - my kebab fell apart! literally - i started just holding the thing, then moved to eating it with a fork, then i gave up entirely and finished demolishing it with a spoon.
went for a nap afterwards, but was interrupted by the chan family of uncle cecil, aunty amy and yancey. poor things - it wasn't enough that all the rain made their roof leak, they were BURGLED too! i hope they catch the nasty sneakthief, but honestly, not much hope there ...
well, like i said, plopped on the half-working net. mum and dad are watvhing ice age 2, which was kindly lent to us by dr. sloopy chickenhump :P

this morning, mum went to the dentist so aunty "(i forgot her name but mum won't tell me it) came over to make sure i didn't roll off the bed :P
mum came back and we went to the physio for a session, except when we left it was bucketing rain"9as it still is now, actually), so vincent the physio (armed with an umbrella"), kindly escorted us out. ^^
lunch was not bad pork chop rice (although mum chose mi-fan then i settled for a nap.
after a good zzz. charlsy and chloe came to visit me!^^ we played wii, although neither mum nor i can remember who won our tennis tussle, me or charlsy. we then played with chloe's 2 mr. potato heads, warping the poor thins beyond all proportion. :P
after they left, dad came home and whipped up dinner, after which i was plopped on an internet that doesn't work! ><
sleepy now. can't remember if i've had a shower or not, but i'm going to bed! tootles~

new years day post 2
yo! dorky wafflebutt trying to type as quick as she can with one finger coz aunty a's given me a bedtime!
anyways, yup, she came over for dinner when dad went to play baddy. after dinner, we settled down to play the wii. i whooped her in both the tennis and boxing (haha, go me!), but she beat mum in the bowling and warns me her revenge in tennis is only a matter of time!
afterwards, we settled down to some fruit, nashi pears and cherries and nashi pear. i figured out, i like cherries!
\anyways, aunty a says it's time up, so i'm signing off!
